best holidays

Today i’m going to talk about my best holiday. All my life I traveled the north of Chile with my family, we usually go to the city of La Serena to the beach Guanaqueros. So I love traveling to the fourth region of Chile, it’s a beautiful place, there is nothing better than watching the stars in the Elqui. In this summer, also traveling with my family, I traveled with my friends to a friend's house in La Serena, that is, travel to the same place twice in less than a month, jajaja.

I was with all my friends for a week and we did a lot of things, like cooking new things everyday. Hanging out to very late and to know the place and the beach. As my friends are musicians, we went to the Plaza de La Serena to play music and the tourists gave us a lot of money, and so survived. Sometimes, we went to the beach and drank Melvin (melon with wine ajaj) and eat bread with margarine, that was part of our regular diet.

Well, I supposed that this year we will make a new trip. Obviously that will be amazing.

i will travel to egypt (someday)

Hi friends!

Today I’m going to talk about an amazing place, which I would love to travel in the future. Egypt.

I always liked the history about Egypt, I would love to know the temples, hieroglyphs, mummies, the sphinx and the pyramids. All These thing fascinates me a lot.

I want to know Cairo city, I will know there the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, the Egyptian Museum, also I want to know Alexandria city and the stunning new Bibliotheca Alexandrina, finally I want to know Luxor city with the temples of Luxor, the Nile river, the Valley of the Kings and the temples of Abu Simbel.

I think that you can do a lot of stuff there, In addition to known the places that I have mentioned, as such, knowing the contemporary culture of the Egyptians, food, nightlife, religion. Also, I would like to ride a camel and navigate the Nile river in a boat.

I think that Egypt is a place to go with your friends or with your family, I don’t really know who I would go there.

To finish, I don’t know if it’s possible to go there in the future, because the trip it’s very expensive, maybe in the future I will have the enough money to travel.

the first term of 2012

Today I’m going to talk about my experiences during the firth term of 2012. I was coursing the first semester of the second year of sociology and I learned economy, sociological theory, quantitative techniques, statistics, and social history of Chile.

I always had problems with the class of economy because it was very early in the morning and almost never went. However, I passed the course and in my opinion I think I learned a lot. Academically, the first half of this year was pretty good.

During the first semester, I had to go to the gym of the university because it was part of the obligatory subjects that have the career. Then, I discovered that my physical condition had deteriorated too much since I graduated from school. (The good life and the shameless, the saying goes).

Another important thing that happened at this time is that my best friend knew she was going to have a baby, and everybody are very happy about it.

Hello again, friends. I`m comeback.

My name is Javiera Ravest, but you can call me Javi. I am a Chilean  girl and I have nineteen years old. I was born in Santiago on March 3th of 1993.I have a sister named Francisca and she has ten years old. I live in Puente Alto, with her and my parents, Patricia and Bernardo. 

About my studies, I completed basic education at the Colegio Crisol, a small school that is located in La Florida, then I completed my secundary education at the Liceo Carmela Carvajal de Prat, which is located in Providencia. Today, I am coursing second year of sociology at the Universidad de Chile.

I love listening to music, surfing the internet, see new places, new experiences, eat and cook delicious foods, share with friends (especially with some drinks, a lot of food and another things)
